Died October 18, 1951 in Korea Private First Class Prange was a member of the 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy at Hill 326 in the Kumhwa Valley, North Korea on October 18, 1951. PFC Prange was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation and the Korean War Service Medal.
